Terör olaylarının medyada yansıtılış biçimindeki ideolojik farklılıklar (15-20 Kasım 2003 İstanbul patlamaları örneği üzerinden bir inceleme)

Abstract

This study aims to prove the 15-20 November 2003 Istanbul Suicide attacks ?Reflections at Cumhuriyet, Hürriyet and Zaman newspapers, the patterns of news making and the newspapers? differences stemming from ideological bases.The reflection manner of Terrorist incidents effects to police-media relations as well as how this news are reflected to media, that media owners being objective while presenting theese news, although terror and terrorist concepts have no common definition in literature to whom and what they are classified are the titles that are to be answered in this study.The reflection of terrorism to media and the ideological context of this reflection?s differences has been examined in 2 basic grounds. Firstly terrorism`s keeping busy the whole world?s agenda as an important problem in casual life and background of this agenda, secondly media and terrorism news which is an important factor in constituting, expanding and delivering of this agenda has been focused in this study.
