Baba Dağ (Fethiye-Muğla) florası
Abstract
This flor is tic study was carried out in Baba Dağ (Fethiye-Muğla) between the years of 1995 and 1997. The study area is located in the south-west Mediterranean region which is a type of Mediterranean climate. Flora of study area consists of 404 species which belong to 79 families and 333 genera. The phytogeograpic regions of spices have been determined: Mediterranean elements % 47.80, Widespread % 30.19, Endemic Mediterranean elements % 8.43, Other % 7.92, Euro-Sib irian elements % 1.48, Irano-Turanien elements % 1.23, Endemic % 1.23, Endemic Irano-Turanien elements % 0.74, Cosmopalitan % 0.74, Europae elements % 0.24 The familis are as follows: Asteraceae 74 spices (% 18.32), Fabacea 39 spices (% 9.65), Lamiaceae 24 spices (% 5.94), Apiaceae 21 spices (%5.20), Cruciferae 18 spices (% 4.46), Caryophyllaceae 15 spices (% 3.71), Poaceae 14 spices (% 3.47), Boraginaceae 12 spices (% 2.97), Scrophulariaceae 12 spices (% 2.97) ve Rosaceae 10 spices (% 2.48) Key words: Flora of Turkey, Baba Dağ (Fethiye-Muğla), Mediterranean.
