Abstract
In this work it is aimed to evaluate education programme of driving course which is done to fulfill the need of driver candidates, basing on the point of view of driver trainers and the driver license applicants. The score of the research which is related combing, consist of Trainers of driving license course and the driver applicants who accomplished the required driving licenses Course in Ankara 2004. This study's working groups consist of 500 driver nominees who completed driving course between January- February 2004, deserved to take driving license and applied to Ankara Traffic Registration Directorship and 50 driver trainers chosen by random sampling method. Data's have been collected by questionnaire technique. Opinions of trainees and lecturers about curriculum's sufficiency and trainees driving skills have been evaluated. "Questionnaire-A for the trainees" and Questionnaire-B for the trainers developed by the researcher have been applied to working group. Data collected from data collection sources have been analyzed by using SPSS Computer program. T-test, Whitney-U test, ANOVA and Schaffer test have been used in data analysis. As a result, trainer group evaluated curriculum content more sufficient then trainee group. Trainer group, evaluated educational circumstances more sufficient then trainee group. It is thought that the results of this study will contribute to further development Driver Training Curriculum.
