Demiri ve Hayatü'l-Hayevan adlı eseri ışığında hadis anlayışı
Özet
Both Qur'an and hadith are the main sources to the various questions faced muslims in their life. Though the holy Qur'an has come up to present day without any distortion, the same argument is far away from being true for hadiths. With the expansion of Islamic lands and population, Muslims came face to face with many foreign cultures and civilizations and they transmitted many things from these to theirs. So many ordinary sayings mere narrated like hadiths. To overcame some suspicions about hadiths, we have to subtly analyze there narrations. So we tried to analyze the work of Damîrî (d.808/1405) called "Hayâtü'l- Hayevân". In his work the scholar gathered many scientific facts about animals. In this book which was formed by way of excerpts, he tnes to give information about medicine, law, Tafsir (commentary), pharmacy, literature, Hadith (tradition), etc. The work of Damiri is full of psuedo weak and authentic hadiths. He gathered the narrations without any schohorly critarian. He was not strict in analyzing and selecting hadith. Sometimes he analyzed the narrators but not the content. In evaluating hadiths he couldn't free himself from the chain of narrators and so couldn't analyze these hadiths rationally.
