This thesis named `ÚavÀèid-i Türkì? is composed of three sections. The first section provides a brief information about the biography of the subject work?s writer and the era, which the work was composed. Following this, after submitting information about the main purpose of the compose of this work, it is emphasized that the use of Turkish language was so practical and widespread in the 19?th century in Iran. Since the writer composed this work by using Tabriz accent, the main importance of the city of Tabriz in Turkish history was also touched during the thesis.The main importance and place of subject work in language history researches were also mentioned while the characteristics related to orthography-phoneme, vocabulary and the etymolgy were examined. During this section, 19?th century Tabriz accent old Turkish was also scrutinized by comparing to Old Oghuz Turkish, Azerbaijan accents, Anatolian accents and today?s Tabriz accent. However, during the preparation of this thesis, it is also determined that, in ÚavÀèid-i Türkì?s work, not only some words, which are not being used by today?s Tabriz accent but also the characteristics of old Turkish language and Oghuz Turkish can be seen. The main characteristics of this Tabriz accent is the use of infinitive suffix in its only velar form whereas in only rounded form for the first person plural in the present tense. Additionally, primary long vowels and velar `n? are kept in some words.In section two, two editions of the subject work were translated and compared to each other, then the findings of study were written according to Turkish transcription system.The spelling of each word in relevant edition and its corresponding meaning in Persian language while the Arabic meanings of the words were also provided within the content of this thesis.Finally, in the third section, after providing Turkish-Persian, Persian-Turkish meanings and the index of proper nouns, in index of Turkish words and suffixes, the pronounciation form of any word in today?s Tabriz accent and also standard linguistic forms related to Azerbaijan Turkish were also provided.
