Kuzey Anadolu'da yayılış gösteren Clethrionomys glareolus (Schreber, 1780) (Mammalia:Rodentia)'un RAPD-PCR analizi
Özet
Bank vole, Clethrionomys glareolus lives in mixed forests in northern Anatolia. Bank voles have specific habitat requirements favouring woodlots, hedgerows and deciduous forests as their prime living area. Hence, a natural or human-induced fragmentation of the forest may cause discontinuous distribution of populations. The aim of this study is to contribute taxonomy and evolution of C. glareolus, analyzing its genetic structure. The Turkish populations of C. glareolus were analyzed for the first time by using RAPD marker technique with this study. 84 individuals were collected from the 19 localities of Turkey. Fifteen RAPD markers were tested yielded 142 DNA bands. In order to show the genetic relationships between the studied populations, genetic distance and similarity calculations of Nei (1978) were used. These calculations were done by using POPGENE software. The total genetic diversity and genetic differentiation values were calculated as H= 0.1571 and GST = 0.4170, respectively. Dendrogram constructed based on genetic distance data formed two clusters, first cluster including western populations was divided into two subgroups, first subgroup contained Bursa population and second subgroup other western populations. Second cluster including eastern populations was also separated to two subgroups. First subgroup consisted of Trabzon population and other eastern populations formed second subgroup.
