Y-P çarpıştırıcısının ışınlığına elektronların enine ve boyuna hareketlerinin etkisi
Abstract
QCD Explorer is a linac ring type collider based on 75 GeV electron beam and 7 TeV LHC proton beam. For this purpose either a single drive-beam unit of CLIC reaching about 75 GeV electron energy or an ILC type standard cavity linac with a 60 GeV energy can be used. The main advantage of linac-ring type compared with ring-ring type colliders is to build ? p colliders based on it. At the ? p colliders high energy photons are produced by the Compton backscattering of the intense laser photons off the electrons provided by the linear accelerator. Then, Compton backscattered photons are collided with protons at the interaction region. In this study, the effects of the electron motions and nonlinear Compton backscattering process to the ? p colliders luminosity was investigated. For this purpose, a simulation program based on Monte Carlo simulation method was written.
