The purpose of this study is to investigate elemantary school counselors? perceptions on school mental health services in 2012-2013 education and teaching term. Also, with this general aim, school counselors? views on applications on school mental health services, relation with individuals and organizations outside the counseling services carrying out school mental health services, application process of school mental health services were researched. Qualitative research method was used in this research and data was gained with interviews. In this research, participants are 22 school counselors who work in 2012-2013 training and education term in Amasya city centre elemantary schools. Also, nine participants of school counselors are female and thirteen participants of school counselors are male. A structured interview form prepared by researcher was used for getting school counselors? views concerning school mental health services. Content analysis technique was used for analysis. Moreover, themes and codes were obtained with this technique. Furthermore, codes were digitized depending on quantification of qualititative data. vii Totaly, 9 themes obtained after coding data. These themes seperated to subthemes and categorizes. Afterwards, codes were gathered under these subthemes and categorizes. Accordind to findings, counseling services to students and parents are more expressed by counselors. Also, according to them, individual counseling and supporting participation of parents to school are more beneficial. Most of counselors want to carry out family education and seminar and effective counseling. However, they are not successful on them owing to some barriers. Moreover, school administors and some teachers from the school and counseling and research center and police station-child brach from outside school support school mental health services. Furthermore, bachelor degree of psychological guidance and counseling are not seen as satisfactory. Counselors suggested that more effective application class should be in education program of counseling education, counselors should carry out different application on school mental health services, each school workers should be aware of being in school mental health team, and families should apply to school more. Eventually, according to some counselors, although some counselors think the opposite, school mental health services have evolved from past to present
