Yetim Divanı -inceleme-metin-
Abstract
In my study titled 'Dîvân of Yearn: Resarch-Text I studied Dîvân of Yetim Ali who was a divan poet of 16th Centuiy. Yearn was a-famous poet of his time, however we can not see the signs of this fame in the sources after the 16th Century. Yetim was in contact with other contemporary poets and had effected the poets by a poem of his written by marine terms. Yetim is the pioneer of the poets writing by marine terms. Only two copies of Dîvân of Yetim could have reached today. These two copies which are the sources of our study are in Istanbul and Erzurum now. I examined the poems in these copies comparatively and indicated the differences in footnotes. I found in sources that Yetim had a mesnevi titled Luccetu'l-Ahbar but we have not it. Also, out of his Dîvân, there are some poems of Yetim in biographies of poets. In Dîvân of Yetim we see kaside, terlrib-i bend, terci'-i bend, murabba, mesnevi, gazel, kıta, and matla. Yetim had highly used gazel and kıta poetry forms in his Dîvân. This study consists of two main chapters. In the first chapter I studied the period of Yetim, his life, his studies, and content of his Dîvân. Expression and language peculiarities of his poems are studied in this chapter too. In the second chapter poems in the DMn are grouped according to the ranks I identified. The poems which are not in the calligraphic copy but are in biographies are included into the text chapter of the study. Just after the Turkish poems there are Persian poems. I attached an index to my study to provide using it easier.
