Yuvaya giden beş yaşındaki çocuklarda dikkat toplama çalışmaları
Abstract
SUMMARY In this study, the affect of a certain programme of concentration education on improving the concentrations of pre-school children is investigated. A solution is searched for the problem by the model with prior test and ultimate test control groups. Our universe consists of children in Giresun, born in 1989 and attending any pre-school institution. Whereas, our sample comprises 40 children within this universe determined randomly on the basis of age, intelligence, sex and SED variables. First of all, using Columbia Mental Maturity Scale (CMM), whet her the children are at normal intelligence level or not is tried to un derstood. Having applied this test on randomly selected children, to the ones who are determined to be between Z.B (95-110), FTF-K (Concentration Test For 5-Year-Old Children) and 1st sub-test of FEW (Frostig Visual Perception Test) are applied. To 20 students in our sample, an education programme prepa red by combining education programme prepared by combining "Frostig Programme" and "Concentration Education Programme" is applied by us. This practice lasted 8 weeks. 58After the application of education programme, FTF-K and 1st sub-test of FEW are again applied to all children. In the analysis of the results of prior and ultimate tests, arith- methic averages of experiment and control groups are compared, and whether there exists a significant difference amon groups or not is tested using t-test. 59
