İlk ve orta öğretimde astronomi uygulamaları
Astronomy, which is researching movements and nature of celestial bodies and secrets of universe in wider sense, reaches accurate information in this direction through the assistance of fundamental sciences as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In other words, Astronomy is the widest application field of all natural sciences. In this thesis work there have been determined some appropriate astronomy problems to ensure primary and secondary education students to understand better some concepts which they encounter in Mathematics and Science (and/or Physics) lessons and these problems have been tried to be emerged together with their solutions. In some cases, the solution was remained for students following the information towards the solution of the problem. These problems can be either sampling for the answer of a abstract concept in the application as a linear equation as well as towards detailed explanations of some other elements which the students trace in their lessons (for instance, the creation of rainbow, light refraction and how people reach what kinds of information under the investigation of this case). A student who is aware of gravitation shall exclusively see by own calculation that it is not so difficult to determine a quantity such as mass of the Earth. More obviously, it is to say that assistance was provided for the primary and secondary education students about how they should use the information that they have been transferred during their education process. For this purpose, in this thesis, there have been tried to create appropriate astronomy problems for the levels of knowledge of primary and secondary education students and under the light of solution method to be explained, application was left for the initiative of students in some cases.
