dc.description.abstract | The aim of this research is to determine the effect of different packing materials (PA, LDPE, PP) on storage period of apple (Golden delicious, Starking), pear (Williams, Ankara) and sweet cherry (Malatya Dalbastı, Lambert) cultivars. Golden delicious and Starking apple cultivars were storaged for ten months in first and second year experiments by using LDPE, PP and PA While Williams pear cultivars storaged for six months inside PP, LDPE and PA in first year experiments, fruits were storaged only for three months in LDPE bags and five months in PP and PA during second year experiments. On the other hand Ankara pears were storaged in packing materials for ten and nine months in first and second year experiments respectivley. Storaged period for Malatya Dalbastı sweet cherry cultivar was determined as seven and eight weeks during first and second year experiments respectivley in all packing materials. In the same packing materials Lambert cultivar was storaged for five weeks in first year and six weeks in second year. While fruit firmness, ticretable acidity, respiration rate and starch level were higher in fruits storaged in PA bags than LDPE and PP bags, total soluble solids content and weight loss were found lower in all fruit cultivars. Results showed that storaged in packing materials prolongs the storaged period and decreases the activity of the fruits. KEY WORDS: Cold Storage, Packing, Polyamide(PA), Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Polyprophylene(PP), fruit firmness, total soluble solids content, ticretable acidity, starch level, weight loss, respiration rate. | tr_TR |

dc.description.ozet | Bu araştırmanın amacı farklı ambalaj materyallerinin (Polyamid(PA), Low Density Polyetilen(LDPE), Polypropilen(PP)) elma (Golden delicious, Starking), armut (Williams, Ankara) ve kiraz (Malatya dalbastı, Lambert) türlerinin muhafaza süresine etkilerini belirlemektir. Golden delicious ve Starking elma çeşitleri araştırmada kullanılan bütün ambalaj materyallerinde birinci ve ikinci yıl denemelerinde 10 ay süreyle muhafaza edilebilmiştir. Williams armutları birinci yıl her üç ambalaj malzemesinde de 6 ay, ikinci yıl Polypropilen(PP) ve Polyamid(PA)'de 5 ay, Low Density Polyetilen(LDPE)'de 3 ay muhafaza edilmiştir. Ankara armutları PA, LDPE ve PP'de birinci yıl 10 ay, ikinci yıl 9 ay muhafaza edihnişlerdir. Her üç ambalaj malzemesinde de Malatya Dalbastı kiraz çeşidi birinci yıl 7 hafta, ikinci yıl 8 hafta, Lambert kiraz çeşidi birinci yıl 5 hafta, ikinci yıl 6 hafta muhafaza edilmişlerdir. PA'de muhafaza edilen tüm meyve türlerinde LDPE ve PP'de muhafaza edilen meyvelere göre meyve eti serdiği, titre edilebilir asitlik, solunum şiddeti, nişasta düzeyi yüksek olurken, suda eriyebilir toplam kuru madde miktarı ve ağırlık kaybı düşük düzeyde kalmıştır. Sonuçlar ambalajlı olarak muhafazanın meyvelerin depo ömrünü uzatırken, metabolik aktiviteyi yavaşlattığım göstermiştir.ANAHTAR KELİMELER : Soğukta Muhafaza, Ambalaj, Polyamid(PA), Low Density Polyetilen (LDPE), Polypropilen (PP), Meyve Eti Sertliği, Suda Eriyebilir Toplam Kuru Madde Miktarı, Titre Edilebilir Asitlik, Nişasta Düzeyi, Ağırlık Kaybı, Solunum Şiddeti. | tr_TR |
