Musa Kazım Paşa was one of the towering poets of ?Encümen-i Şu?arâ? community which had important role on the transition from east to west, old to new in the second half of the XIX century.His large-volume ?Külliyat?, acquired in recent years and the poet edited in the last years of his life, augmented and reinforced his importance among the poets of Encümen-i Şu?arâ. The poet wrote nazires, in accordance with the concept of literature of the period to XVIII century poets,especially.Furthermore, he accepted Nef?i in Kaside and Fuzuli in Gazel as master.Musa Kazım Paşa constructed a large-volumed Külliyat. Besides, he was a poet stand out with his sufistic side who wrote poems with nearly all of verse forms such as kaside, gazel, müstezad, murabba, şarkı, terkib-bend, terci-bend, tahmis, taştir, müselles, muhammes, müsebba, müseddes, kıt?a, nazm, rubai, mesnevî, muamma and koşma. That he wrote poem with müselles which was the rare form of verse, translated ?Düvazdeh Bend? of Muhteşem-i Kâşânî from Persian in to Turkish and ?Avâmil? of Birgivî as a verse is the conspicuous sides of the poet.In the single work done up to the present time, even a well-arranged printed text of works called ?Divan and Mekâlid-i Aşk? including exiguous poems of poet can not be stated and the things told about his literary character are fragmentary.In this work, besides the life story of the poet given in the sources, important and new findings from ?Külliyat? have been added.Especially the birthday of the poet has been made infinite and new informations about his childhood and family have been obtained.Later, the poems have been analysed according to its form and content, if necessary. The results obtained much more definite findings about the art of Musa Kazım Paşa have been made in the lights of the results obtained.Except this, hundreds of the poems of the poet which were unknown up to this time have been displayed by introducing the text of ?Külliyat? and an important material has been provided for researchers who will do a research about the period.
