Kur'ân perspektifinde pozitif yaklaşım

Abstract

Positive approach or positive thought can be summarized as acting always constructively and keeping away from destructive actions. However, looking at everything in daily life very positively in spite of all problems is not really easy. It requires to be heroes of patience and love and to be exactly determined to do well. These characteristics should be, in fact, certain aims of Muslims.These aims are mentioned in the Qur?an and sunnah very frequently, however it is needed to have a great comprehensive knowledge about the entire teachings of the holy Qur?an and Sunnah to notice these main teachings completely through them. Positive approach principles do not only apply to the relationship or problems of Muslims among each other but rather arranges the interactions of Muslims with all of the people without making any discrimination among them considering their faith.These principles have a great effect on tolerance and interfaith dialogue activities in the world. Hovewer, some people, because of their lack of knowledge about the Qur?an and Sunnah, greatly accuse and oppose those activists who make and encourage such kinds of organizations. Firstly they should learn that dialogue and tolerance do not mean joining the others and becoming a member of their communities or beliefs as they claimed, however it means accepting others as they are and knowing how to get along with them. So, that means, nobody can say that they are against the main teachings of Islam which literally means ?peace?.The Prophet Muhammad pbuh is the most influential person in human history as Michael H. Hearth declared as well. After the divine help of Allah, the reason of this success is hidden behind of his extraordinary politeness, good behaviors towards the others without discriminating them according to their faiths and his positive approach principles that he followed very firmly throughout his lifetime.The concept of ?jihad? which is called to be ?the holy war of Muslims?, is one of the misconceptions against Islam. ?jihad? is mainly all of the efforts done for the sake of Allah in every part of the life. In the mean time, there are lots of conditions for declaring war according to the Islamic law. In the mean time there are lots of positive approach principles in Islam regarding to the war. It can?t be denied that humanity has not ever witnessed a more lucky war than the wars in which Muslims participated throughout the history.As Hans Kung said, the peace, which is the main aim of positive approach, will not be established on the earth until it is established among the followers of, especially, major world religions: Muslims, Christians and Jews. Knowing this reality, it is sought in this thesis about the importance of loving mankind regardless of their faith through the analysis of positive approach or positive thought in Islam. Islam encourages living in a pluralist society peacefully through following the principles of positive approach which are exactly taken from the Qur?an and Sunnah which are the main sources of Islam. For Muslims it is very important to love creatures because of the Creator and in this thesis, this way of life is called as ?positive approach or positive thought?
