Canlı ağırlık ve bazı vücut ölçüleri kullanılarak Karayaka ve Bafra (Sakız X Karayaka G1) koyunlarının çok değişkenli istatistiksel yöntemler ile incelenmesi
Özet
This research aims to investigate of Karayaka and Bafra (Chios x Karayaka B1) sheeps with Multivariate Statistical Methods by using the live weight and some body measurements. In this context, live weight estimation is obtained with the multiple linear regression by using some body measurements of Karayaka and Bafra sheeps. Furthermore, Karayaka and Bafra sheeps are classified by hierarchical and non-hierarchical clustering methods according to their body measurements. In this research, live weights and some body measurements of 223 Karayaka and 462 Bafra sheeps in various age which are breed in Gökhöyük Agricultural Enterprises that belongs to General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises are used.On Bafra genotype, average live weight values which obtained for each age are significantly higher than Karayaka genotype. Live weight means corrected according to age are calculated 61,28±0,31 kg for Bafra sheeps and 51,05±0,39 kg for Karayaka sheeps. On the other hand, age had significant effects on live weight and all examined body measurements related to Karayaka genotype. However, It is determined that age hadn?t significant effects on wither height and head length related to Bafra genotype.According to Multiple Linear Regression related to live weight estimation obtained by using body measurements; head length, wither height and head width variables hadn?t significant effects on live weight of Bafra sheeps. On the other hand, head length, chest depth and body length variables hadn?t significant effects on live weight of Karayaka sheeps. It is determined that chest girth measurements are the highest-level effective body characteristic on live weight of Karayaka and Bafra genotypes. When findings and dendrograms related to Single Linkage and Avarage Linkage Clustering Methods from Hierarchical Clustering Methods are examined, It was seen that close to complete of Karayaka sheeps and a major part of Bafra sheeps are gathered in one cluster. In Complete Linkage Clustering Method and from Non-Hierarchical Clustering Methods according to K-Means and Medoid Clustering Methods Karayaka sheeps are gathered in 3 clusters and Bafra sheeps are gathered in 7 clusters. However, Karayaka sheeps are parted into 2 clusters and Bafra sheeps are parted into 4 clusters according to Fuzzy Clustering Method. The results belongs to clustering analyses that applied showed that Bafra sheeps are more heterogenus according to body characteristics than Karayaka sheeps. Furthermore, using the fuzzy clustering method on the livestock researchs to determine the instable can be arise in cluster membership of individuals indicated that more information can be reach about state of population.
