The Applicability Of Foreign Language Teaching Theories In German Teaching As Second Foreign Language, Todays foreign language teaching focuses on the four basic skills of language mainly listening, reading, speaking and writing rather than just providing the learners with knowledge during their learning procedure. However, a lesson applied without a specific method affects both the teachers teaching and the students learning the mentioned skills negatively. Taking this into consideration, in this study, it is aimed to make Turkish native speaker students learn German, and have the point of view that while learning German as a foreign language, with guidance, students can be taught a lesson in which the topics that are difficult to comprehend and learn due to the differences in structural and social formation between both of the languages, in an eclectic approach and with most suitable language teaching theories applicable in classroom atmosphere, so that the lesson will be enriched in vocabulary, encourage participation, handle the functional topics without a grammar based atmosphere. Therefore, with an inferential research by applying a questionnaire, some valuable data related to the Educational Background, Thoughts about their own learning procedure?, ?Thoughts about the behaviors, ?Thoughts about the use of sense organs and ?Thoughts about the personality of 318 students who study German as a second foreign language or as an elective course in four different faculties in Pamukkale University. According to the frequency of the data, the theories, specifically, Grammar-Translation Method, Wilhem Viëtor, Direct Method, Audio-Lingual Method, Audiovisual Method, Behavioristic Method, Contrastive Analysis, Total Physical Response, Suggestopedia and Communicative Approach were determined, and the part namely Lesson Explaining and Exercise? about Präsens irregular and Modal Verbs conjugation was formed and some suggestions were presented.
