The human life continously changes and developes. These rapid changes inscience and techonology affects people and lead people to form new attiudes towardsthe world, life and themselves.As understood from the historical realities, religion is the fundamental factorwhich affects the human and their lifes. Hence, the religion must be understood welland applied in a correct way. Religion education takes very important roles whileachieveing the fundamental need of believing and understanding the religion. One ofthe problems of the Religion education, as discussed mostly, is related with Howshould be the Religion education?One of the important steps of preparing the curriculum in Religion Cultureand Moral Knowledge lessons is to determine the needs of society and observe thereactions of them by using the scientific methods. This study investigates andevaluates the attitudes of the stıdents' family on the the Religion Culture and MoralKnowledge lessons and curriculam programs.For this aim, the attitudes of students' parents towards the titles of the topicsin the current Religion Culture and Moral Knowledge lesson programs wereinvestigated and their attitudes were evaluated accroding to the factors of gender,age, hometown, place where they live most, education level, marital status, job, levelof income, the source of Religion education, ability to read the Kuran, following thearticles in Religion or not?.
