Ankara ve Çankırı illeri asma gen kaynaklarının SSRs (simple sequence repeats)'a dayalı genetik karakterizasyonu
Özet
Ankara and Çankırı provinces are suitable for good quality wine grape cultivation, also this region is being popular for table grape cultivation due to improved irrigation systems in recent years. In this research, a total of 49 grape cultivars (Vitis vinifera L.) from Tekirdağ Viticulture Research Institute in National Germplasm Repository Vineyard with 2 reference cultivars were genetically characterized using 15 SSR markers (VVMD5, VMC2C3, VrZAG79, VVMD24, VVMD27, VVMD28, VVS2, VrZAG62, VVIB01, VMC2H4, VVMD7, VVIH54 VVMD31, VrZAG83, VRG1) and genetic relationships among them were investigated. Genetic data obtained from 14 loci analysed successfully charecterised the grapevine cultivars however, locus VRG1 was eliminated due to the high frequency of null allele. Number of alleles per locus ranged from 4 to 13. Within genotypes analysed 2 identical, 4 synonym, 5 homonym cases were observed. The results obtained in the present study using SSR markers are important first steps towards better characterization of Ankara and Çankırı grape genotypes and would aid future germplasm management and breeding efforts.
