Abstract
Ayşe Sıdıka was a Turkish governess lived in 19th century. She was from one of the first educators in "Daru'l-Muallimat" that opened aimed at educating ladies. "Usûl-i Talim ve Terbiye" was an educational book. It was from a textbook constituted her lecture notes. She divided her book up to three basic chapters: physical, mentally and ethical. And she established relations seriously with those three chapters each other. According to her thesis an ailing person couldn't think well-thought out and couldn't be a Goodman. First of all the education most certainly aims to healthy body for this reason. The human ought to be careful with his clothing, foods and his nourishments and to take exercise. Intelligence education is important too. Cause of it will be in need of intelligence to ensure the acts morality. The intelligence education must be fit in with attainment stages. The subject of our research is" the principal of moral education." Ayşe Sıdıka has some principals on moral education. For example the teacher should be modelled on his student. The family affects the child with all ways because it is the first vicinity in his life. The family and the vicinity are important too. But in such a manner the child himself is in the center. The school life and the teacher are important too. The pedagogues mustn't get rid of completely the child's temper instead of educating positively. The pedagogues must be patient and must be strong- will person. He should try to straighter the child's will. He must do first what says himself. Ethical education must be fit in with attainment stages. The ethical behaviour must be depends on the human independence. Exactly like this the attitude will be lasting and most quality. Empathy must be put into mind. Targets should be realistic. Today Ayşe Sıdıka is still actual pedagogue with her work.
