Şehabeddin karafi'nin Kur'an anlayışı ve yorum yöntemi

Abstract

The subject of our thesis is the understanding and interpretation method of the Holy Qur?an of Qarafi, one of the famous Maliki jurists from the VII century of the Hegira. Because of the Holy Qur?an being the base of all Islamic disciplines, makes them to be geared to the Qur?an. It means, that the scholars who build up a reputation upon other disciplines than Exegesis, also were interested in the domain of the Exegesis science to a certain extent and took advantage of Exegesis at their own domains of science. From this point of exit, we made a decision to approach a subject of viewpoint of one of famous jurists, his understanding the Holy Qur?an and his interpretation methods of Its verses. There is no works of Qarafi upon the Exegesis or Qur?anic Sciences de facto. Therefore, the boundaries of this thesis were defined basically on the subjects that were handle by Qarafi and the verses which were delivered opinion by him at his Tenqih, Ejvibe and Istisna. On this account, the final form and configuration of our thesis, which was tried to be prepared from the Exegesis?s point of view, was formed mainly upon the obtained information. At the Introductory Chapter; we gave the technical knowledges about this thesis and enlightened the information about Qarafi?s life and his works. At the First Chapter; we analysed Qarafi?s viewpoint on Qur?an in context of Qur?anic Sciences. At the Second Chapter; we discussed the sticked out concepts according Qarafi?s understanding of Qur?an and touched the basises which were benefited by Qarafi in his interpretation method. The thesis ends with Conclusion and Literature Appendix.
