Özet
This study, entitled as ?The content Used in the Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge Course Books of Primary Education and the Contributions of the Activities to the Realization of the Acquisition of Belief Learning Field?, (Content Analysis Based on the Course Books.) consists of four sections. In the entry, the aim, importance and the borders of the research were determined by introducing a basic problem urging us to investigate. In the first section, a general introduction and evaluation was done about the new Teaching Program and Guide of the Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge which was put into practice in 2007-2008 education periods. In the second section, the pupils were advised on belief learning by mentioning the achievement process of religious belief and thought on the children. The criteria that the books must have in terms of content were determined in the third section. In the forth section, the content of belief learning field and the activities in the Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge Course Books of 4th , 5th , 6th , 7th and 8th classes of Primary Education which were the constituents of the research and chosen as the samples, were examined and evaluated according to the achievements determined for the each unit in the teaching program. In the end, suggestions were developed by accomplishing and evaluating the research.After the research, it was concluded that the content used in the Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge Course Books of Primary Education has mainly contributed to the realization of the belief learning field achievements, but the activities have been insufficient in the realization of the achievements.
