Maslow'un ihtiyaçlar hiyerarşisi kuramına göre konutların swot analizi ile değerlendirilmesi

This study was planned and conducted to define the houses with SWOT Analysis in the theory of Maslow?s hierarchy of needs. A total of 150 personnels in Turkish Vakıf Bank Main Office sellected by random sampling method and included in to study. Survey tecniques were used in gathering the research materials. Answers given to sentences typed Likert were scored, used as technique of factor analysis ?varimax analysis technique? for reliability and items with factor loading less than 0.30 were deleted. In order to test the safety of questionare were calculated ?cronbach alpha? as inner consistency coefficient. In the research definitive variable as sex, education level and house ownership scales has take part. On scales that phisical social and economical variable is used, t-test has made to define the difference which depends on variables and results are interpreted (commented) by 0.05 and 0.01 sensibility. SWOT Analysis has applied for the results of the t-test. In the research, answers regarding the family?s perception and evaluation of residency is shown in absolute and percent values in the parts that the Likert scale is used, independent variables such as gender, level of education and residency ownership are taken into account, in the t-test made to determine the difference depending on scale variables, the results are interpreted at 0.01 and 0.05 meaning level. A Swot Analysis is made accordingly.33.3% of the participants are women, 66.7% are men. 60.7% have educational levels that is equal to or lower than high school. 44.7% of the individuals are home owners where 55.3% are tenants. The average number of individuals in the family is 4, the average number of children is 2 and the average age of the individuals is 31.It is understood that the individuals? assessment of their residency?s physical, social and economical attributes aren?t based on personal characteristics, it is generally based on the conditions of the residencies they live in. The SWOT Analysis show that, individuals choose to live in residencies that meet their ?safety needs? while evaluating the physical attributes of the residency, that they don?t encounter any problems about meeting their ?physiological needs? while evaluating the social attributes, but have expressed certain discontent about meeting their ?social needs? and ?love and belonging needs?. Furthermore, while evaluating the economical attributes, it is understood that individuals? ?self actualization? and ?love and belonging needs? aren?t met and their ?social needs? are not fulfilled from the economical point of view.
