Beyaz peynir örneklerinde Staphylococcus aureus'un farklı selektif besiyerlerinde sayımı ve tanımlanması

In this study first of all, the enumeration results which are obtained from three selective mediafor S. aureus enumeration, are compared. Compared to Baird Parker Agar and Mannitol SaltAgar media, the enumeration results of the analyses that are done with the Giolitti CantoniBroth medium are found much less.As a following step, at the BPA and MSA solid media in the plates for the enumeration, thereare both S. aureus colonies of these media and similar of its atypical S. aureus colonies andthere are also the colonies that are clear not to be S. aureus and strains are identified. Amongthe 99 strains, 91 of them are identified in satisfied detail.According to that; 12 bacilli, 6 yeasts, 30 Enterococcus spp. and 19 Micrococcus spp. grow atthe solid media that are selective for S. aureus and they are formed colonies. Besides; when11 of strains of are S. aureus, 3 of S. anaerobius, 1 of S. coagulans, 3 of S. intermedius, 2 ofS. lentus and 1 of S. xylosus are identified. Apart from these, it is decided that 1 of strains is S.haemolyticus or S. saprophyticus and 2 of strains are S. hominis or S. piscifermentans.Parellel of all these data, the BPA medium that is used in the standart analyses of whitecheese, pans out satisfied results according to the symptoms gained from this study.
