Özet
Important developments on intellectual properties and works within the context of these properties and in respect of protecting the owner of the works who are the creators have been recorded in both national and international area since especially the beginning of 20th century. In the light of these developments, important legal arrangements have been made in Turkish Law and also considerable steps have been taken about adjustment to the developments. The comparatively examination of legal arrangements that have been accepted in two countries about the protection of copyrights within the scope of intellectual properties has a great importance in terms of not becoming unfamiliar with especially international developments for both Turkish and Jordan Law systems having a common past both historically and legally. For this purpose, the comparatively examination of the governmental system that Turkish Intellectual and Art Works Law numbered 5846 has accepted about protection of copyrights with Jordan Law articles oriented to Protect Owners of Copyrights will also provide that Turkish Law which has a more modern structure shows light to the Jordan Law.
