Grupla psikolojik danışmanın üniversite öğrencilerinin yılmazlık düzeylerine etkisi
Özet
In this research the effect of ?Resiliency of Educational GroupProgram? resiliency levels of university students was examined. The students in the Faculty of Educational Sciences of AnkaraUniversity and Child Development and Early Childhood TeachingDegree of Gazi University in 2002-2003 a academic year consists of thepopulation of this study. The research was carried out with a sample of36 students, randomly selected among the 2., 3. and 4. grade studentswhose resiliency levels were low from the programs of Guidance andCounseling, Mental Handicapped Teacher?s Degree, PreschoolTeacher?s Degree, Elementary Teacher?s Degree, Social StudiesTeacher?s Degree, Computer and Teaching Technologies Teacher?sDegree of Ankara University and Child Development and EarlyChildhood Teaching Degree of Gazi University. The research is pretest-posttest- follow-up with controlled group(2x3) split plot design. In the research besides experimental group with20 samples, in order to control Hawthorne effects placebo controlgroup with 16 samples, 5 group session activity which are unrelatedwith resiliency) was performed. The Resiliency of Educational GroupProgram which is used as an experimental operation was carried out in11 group session once a week and the group session was almost twohours long.?The Group Program of Resiliency Education? was developed forresilient individual by the researcher. The program designed asremedial, encounter, didactic and including several dramas and playspackage program is based on weightily cognitive-behavioral approachintegrated with psychodrama and humanistic and existentialphenomenological approach. The main purpose of this research is to test whether TheResiliency of Educational Group Program effective increasing theresiliency level of students or not. So that, the independent variable ofthe research is the educational program which was performed onlyexperimental group; dependent variables of the research are resiliencylevel of students. As a pretest-posttest and follow-up, in order tomeasure resiliency level Resiliency Scale (RS) were applied. RSconsists of 50 items and 8 factors as whole. At the end of the research for the data analysis used was two-wayANOVA for mixed measures. As a result of the analysis it is found thataccording to pretest scores of resiliency there is a meaningfuldifference between posttest scores of resiliency of both scores ofresiliency of both experimental and control group, sample at .001 leveland across control groups and this increasing happened because ofThe Resiliency of Educational Group Program. [F(1;34)=49.52, p< .001]Beside this in order to test the program?s increasing effect analexithymia and loneliness is long lasting, compared differencesbetween both experimental and control group?s posttest scores andfollowing-up test (at a 4,5 mount) scores. The data analyzed by pairedsamples t-test. The result indicated that there is no meaningfuldifference between posttest and following-up test scores of resiliencyof both experimental and control group. Consequently it is to say thatThe Resiliency of Educational Group Program is effective in increasingthe resiliency levels of students. And this effect is in long term. The results have been taken into consideration and discussed assufficient supports for usefulness and effectiveness of ?The GroupProgram of Resiliency Education?, and some suggestions were made.
