Ankara şartlarında doğal tetraploid elçi çayırüçgülü (trifolium pratense L.) seçme klonlarında melezlenme ve tohum tutma farklılıklarının belirlenme
Abstract
The research, was made in 19 87. on the selected clones of Natural Tetraploid Elçi Red clover (Trifolium pratense L. ) under irrigated condit ions on experimental fields of Ankara University. Faculty of Agriculture. Department of Agronomy. The selected clones used in this research were El-8, El-9, El-12 and E2 strains. The purpose of this research was to determine the differentiations in hybridization and seed settina among this selected clones and to find out the most superior strains for production. 'According to the results obtained the pollens, of the strains used in this research stained 99-100 %. The rate of germinated pollens were found as 55 % in El-9 strain and as 70 % in El-8 strain. In our Natural Tetraploid material 6 pores were observed in 14 pollens of 200 in El-12. and 20 pollens of 200 in E2, The pollens with 5 and 6 pores were not found in diploid strains. Thus it was found out that number of pollien pores in tetraploid material were higher. In view point of pollen size a higher value was obtained from E2 strain E2 strain than diploid. However, El-12 showed lower value and no difference was observed in two other strains. In view point of seed setting a great differentia tions were observed between El-9 and other strains. While seed setting rate was 47.7 % in El-9, and 9.9 % in thevi other strains, In reciprocal hybridizations seed yield was so little when E2 strain was selected as female parent. The highest seed yield was obtained in El-9 X E2 hybridization in which El-9 strain took place as female parent plant.
