Abstract

The Analysis of the Hadith about the slander on Aisha (ra) (İfk)?, Master Theis, Advisor Prof. Dr. Bünyamin ERUL, p. 110The research consists of an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction part, we have presented information about the topic, aim, importence, methods resources and the conceptual aspect of the research.We have found it appropriate to focus on the following concepts;a) The concept of ?slander? (ifk) which includes everything that diverges differs from its origin or from what it is supposed to be.b) The concept of ?slander? (iftira) used as an ethical term fort pense he meaning of accusing someone of an offense he/she has not committed.c) The concept of ?slander? (Bühtan) which has the meaning of a liet hat bewilders to person hearing it due to its being repulsive and very hideow.We tried to comprehend the scientific and literal meanings of these three concepts by searching through different dictionaries, taking into consideration the related verses in the Quran and by making use of the resources ?Garibu?l-Qur?an? an ?Garibu?l-Hadith?.In the first chapter, we have dealt with the incident of slander (incident of ifk) found in Resources of Hadith. We have studied the rumour in the work called ?Nine Books (al-Kütüb-i Tis?a)? after studying it in the earliest resource. After examining the chain of the narration of the hadith (sened) and the written text of the hadith, we have focused on combining (talfiq) and separation (taqti?). We have examined the biography of those who took part in the inciandent of slander (ifk indicent) (Hz. Aisha- Safwân b. Muattal-Abdullah b. Ubeyy b. Selûl-Mistah b.Üsâse- Hamne bt. Jahch-Hassan b.Thâbit).In the second chapter, we have dealt with the incident of slander on Aisha (ra) ( İfk incident) found in the Quran and in the resources on the history of Islam.After stating the meaning of related verses (Nur 11? 21), we tried to focus on the assumptions decuded from the indicent in various resources of interpretations of Quran (tefsir).In the conclusion part, we have studied the reflections of incident. We have emphasized the knowledge which the effect of the incident brought into today?s society.In the last part of our thesis, we have drawn up the diagram of the chain of the narration of the incident (the diagram of isnad).
