Özet
This dissertation thesis is mainly based upon the importance and location of Asklepios Cult in Bakırçay Region and its connection with the the archeological excavation site which has already been under excavation in Paşa İlıcası. In this research, the geographical situation of Bakırçay Region, its historical geography Asklepios Cult within The Greek and Roman Culture and Asklepieions in Ancient times have been taken into consideration. Archeological, Epigraphic and Numismatic findings have been examined as well as Archeological in-situ findings in Allianoi as a cult centre in Bakırçay-Paşa Ihcası-Region Original excavation findings between the years 1998-2000 have been catalogued in details and systematically. By doing this, all data regarding this Cult Centre have been gathered and so the site of Allianoi has been localized.The socio-economic and chronological importance of this Cult Centre in Ancient times and its connection with the Asklepios Cult has been gut formard in general. Finally, we reach these results: Allianoi Cult Centre was used in Hellenistic Period as an impressive Thermal centre with its monumental buildings. In 2. A.D. a new intensive construction period started and until it was abandoned in about 11 A.D. the centre was used intensively as a Health centre. Allianoi, in Roman Imperial Period was a thermal centre where hot spring water was used and most probably served as a second Asklepieion. In Byzantine Period it also experienced a new settlement period. m
