Seçilmiş haşhaş (Papaver somniferum L.) hatlarının melezlerinde verim ve bazı özelliklerde heterosis üzerine araştırmalar
Abstract
This research was carried out at experimentaal station of Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops in 1999 and 2000. In this research, seven parental lines and their reciprocal crosses (7x6= 42) have been used as material. In the first year of the research, all crosses were made and all parental lines and crosses were sown under partially balanced lattice experimental design with three replications in the second year. In this study, plant height, capsul number per plant, capsul width, capsul length, capsul index, stigma number per capsul, capsul yield per plant, seed yield per plant, capsul yield, seed yield, capsul/sccd rate, morphine content and morphine yield have been investigated. Morphine content changed between 0.25 1 % and 0.739%. Heterosis and heterobeltiosis values of some important traits of the material have been given below: for seed yield per plant changed between -13.42% to 45.70% and -22.48% to 39.1 1%; for capsul yield -33.92% to 132.41% and -40.63% to 112.86%; for seed yield -32.05% to 94. 1 7% and -38.34% to 88.76%; for morphine content -24.21% to 44.62% and -32.44% to 32.68%; for morphine yield -37.63% to 100.39% and -54.68% to 95.21% respectively. Both general and spesific combining ability have been found statistically significant for stigma number, capsul length, capsul yield and seed yield traits. In terms of other traits, only spesific combining ability has been found statistically significant. In addition to these, reciprocal effect has been found statistically significant for capsul and seed yield.
