Eşleme (coupled) yöntemiyle açıkta tozlanmış aspir döllerinin melezlerinde tohum verimi ve verim komponentleri üzerinde araştırma
Abstract
This research was carried out on the experimental field of the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ankara in the year of 1986. Trial was done for the purpose of determining the seed yield and yield components of the first and second generation hybrids of open pollinated off springs by the method of pairing (coupling) in two replications. Heterosis of the first generation hybrids was found 42.15-145.31%, 1.90-9.70%, 3.13-43.18%, 24.00-42.11% and 41.33-135.71% in seed yield, plant height, stem yield, stem number and capsule number, respectively. Meanwhile, the thousand seed weight was found significant in only one hybrid (15.41%) and heterosis wasn't seen in husk and oil ratios in both generation hybrids. Heterosis of the second generation hybrids was found 41.53-51.03%, 3.28-7.48%, 4.29-36.47%, 15.13-22.13% and 15.55-67.44% in seed yield, plant height, stem yield, stem number and capsule number, in order. Meanwhile, the thousand seed weight was found significant in only one hybrid (15.66%) and heterosis wasn't seen in husk and oil ratios in both generation hybrids. KEY WORDS : Pairing (coupling), open pollination, first generation, second generation, yield component, heterosis, seed yield, plant height, the thousand seed weight, stem yield, stem number, capsule number, husk ratio and oil ratio.
