Beyaz Pekin ördeklerinde çeşitli verim özellikleri
Özet
This research was conducted in order to investigate some production characteristics of White Pekin ducks. Additionally this research study was carried out for improving hatchability of duck eggs which is arround 40% in government farms. For this purpose, hatchability results of hatching egges were compared for sprayed and non sprayed and cheon, washed and dirty eggs according to the legnth of storage (I-7 and 8-I4 days)... Hatchability results obtained from clean, washed with of desinfectant and dirty eggs were 69.38%, 62% and 54.9% and from egges sprayed with desinfectant and non sprayed were 70% and 58.4% and eggs hold for I-7 days and 8-I4 days were 69.49% and 56.7%. Hatchability differences were not significant statistically. However, spraying with desinfectant cleaning and washing of duck hatching eggs had.V- a positive effects on hatchability results. Andlhe shorter the storage period is the better the hatch. Additionally the other research was conducted in order to investigate the growth characteristics of White Pekin ducks in the rearing period. The ducklings were fead adlibitum with a starter ration (containing 20.38% crude protein and 2832 kcal/kg ME) from day-old to 3 weeks of age and grower ration (containing 17.31% crude protein and 2836 kcai/kg ME) from 4 weeks of age to 8 weeks of age. The average body weights of the Pekin ducks at 8 weeks of age were found 2433.34 gr with 2387 FCR. At the end of experiment, ducklings were slaughtered and average live weight, dressing yield, carcass weight, heart and liver weiht and gizzard weight were measured as 2480 g, 65.32%, 1620 g., 124 g and 74 g. respectively.
