Abstract
In the first half of the 1st millennium B.C. the types of furniture show the charecteristic of the civilizations. When they first came to Anatolia the Phrygians, have brought there both their burial customs and the tpyes of furniture. The Phyrygian furniture contain a high level of craftswen and do not show similarity to those of adwacent cultures. The elements and types of Urartian furniture closely resemble each other. They have been made with the same technique and in large numbers. The Urartian artist has not been greatly affacted by the surrounding cultures and has made those similar types by his own creative power. Since the Late Hittite City States were in close relationships with Mesopotamia, they have made the Mesopotamian types both technically and the types of furniture and they have also used those furniture by their creative power. The relationships of there there civilizations in respect of furniture are not so much and since the furniture of the Late Hittite City States on the descriptive works of art have been made by the artists of different communities there appearad different types of furniture.
