Egeria densa sucul bitkisinin vanadyum ile kirlenmiş sularda fitoremediasyon potansiyelinin araştırılması
Özet
In this thesis, the removal of vanadium heavy metal by the aquatic plant Egeria densa, about which there are not many studies, was examined. In addition, the removal of two of the elements (Cu and Zn) in the Hoagland solution used in the study was also examined. For this purpose, E. densa was exposed to vanadium in three different concentrations as low (0.2 ppm), medium (0.6 ppm) and high (1.8 ppm) for 7 days. The samples were taken from the environment with pollutants on the 1st, 4th and 7th days and the amount of pollutants remaining in the environment was determined. While a high rate of removal could not be measured for vanadium; Notable measurements were found for copper and zinc. According to the results obtained, it was observed that E. densa plant was not successful in removing V heavy metal from the environment, but it could remove Cu and Zn heavy metals from the environment. The use of E. densa for V removal is not recommended.
