Özet
One of the most important contributions of local SMEs to the domestic economy is the demand for animal products produced locally. All milk and meat establishments provide raw material supply from the province while feed establishment supplies mixed feed raw materials from other regions. Dairy companies operate between 100 and 400 tons of milk per year, converting milk into value-added products. Meat establishments are converting live animals from meat producers into meat products with capacities ranging from 300 kg to 10 ton per day. The feed mills have a feed processing capacity of 10 tonnes to 20 tonnes per hour. The installed capacities of these enterprises range between 50% and 70%. Employment opportunities are another important contribution of local SMEs that are based on animal husbandry. 50% of the milk enterprises examined have employment in the range of 1-9, 50% in the employment of 10-49. While 3 meat establishments create employment between 1-9, another employs 10-49 and one employs 50-249. Approximately 200 people are employed in the feed factories interviewed within the scope of the research.
