| dc.description.abstract | Güvencesiz çalışma olgusu yalnızca belirli işler ile sınırlı kalmayarak birçok çalışma alanını kapsamaktadır. Bu çalışma alanlarından biri de profesyonel spordur. 1980'li yıllar itibariyle amatör sporun profesyonel spora dönüşümünün ortaya çıkardığı ekonomik boyut; profesyonel sporun işçileri olan profesyonel sporcular ile işverenleri olan profesyonel spor kulüpleri arasında güvencesiz çalışma sorunlarının temelini oluşturmuştur. ILO, 2020 yılında düzenlemiş olduğu Spor Dünyasında İnsana Yaraşır İş başlıklı Küresel Diyalog Forumunda profesyonel sporda güvencesiz çalışma sorunlarına dikkat çekerek, sorunların çözümü doğrultusunda gerçekleştirilecek düzenlemelerin gerekliliğini vurgulamıştır. Bu çalışma; ILO'nun belirlemiş olduğu profesyonel sporda güvencesiz çalışma sorunlarının Türkiye Basketbol Liglerindeki yansımasını, spor kulüpleri tarafından çalıştırılan basketbolcuların bakış açısından ortaya koyarak, sorunlara ilişkin gerçekleştirilecek düzenlemelere ışık tutmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu doğrultuda Türkiye Basketbol Liglerinde spor kulüpleri tarafından çalıştırılan 10 profesyonel basketbolcu ile nitel araştırmaların veri toplama türlerinden biri olan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği gerçekleştirilmiş ve basketbolcuların görüşmelerde belirtmiş olduğu sorunlara ilişkin sesli ve görsel materyallerden yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin betimsel analiz yoluyla yorumlanması ve özetlenmesi ile bulgulara ulaşılmıştır. Bu çerçevede Türkiye Basketbol Liglerinde güvencesiz çalışma sorunları; ücret, sakatlık ve iş göremezlik, kayıt dışı çalışma, iş sağlığı ve güvenliği, hafta tatili, psikolojik taciz, ayrımcılık, fiziksel şiddet, sendikal temsil, eğitim ve geleceğe ilişkin belirsizlik durumları şeklinde ortaya çıkmıştır.
The phenomenon of precarious work encompasses many fields of work, not limited to specific jobs. One of these areas of work is professional sports. The economic dimension brought about by the conversion of amateur sports to professional sports as of the 1980s; It has formed the basis of precarious working problems between professional athletes who are workers of professional sports and professional sports clubs with their employers.In the Global Dialogue Forum titled Decent Work in the Sports World in 2020, ILO highlighted the problems of precarious work in professional sports and highlighted the necessity of arrangements to be made in line with the solution of the problems. This study aims to shed light on the regulations regarding the problems by revealing the reflection of the problems of precarious work in professional sports determined by ILO in the Turkish Basketball Leagues from the perspective of basketball players run by sports clubs. Accordingly, semi-structured interview technique, one of the data collection types of qualitative research, was carried out with 10 professional basketball players run by sports clubs in the Turkish Basketball Leagues and audio and visual materials related to the problems that basketball players stated in the interviews were used. The findings were obtained by interpreting and summarizing the obtained data through descriptive analysis. Within this framework, precarious work problems in Turkish Basketball Leagues have emerged as wages, disability and incapacity, informal work, occupational health and safety, paid weekend, psychological harassment, discrimination, physical violence, union representation, education and uncertainty regarding the future. | tr_TR |
