Gens'ten Can'a: Alevilikte siyasal birimin iz düşümü
The aim of this study was to reveal the political ties in the Alevi community, a society with egalitarian consanguineous characteristics, and to present an interpretation of "Can", a crucial concept in the symbolic universe of the community. Based on the idea that politics is inherent to society, first an explanation of how nature/culture shaped political thought since Ancient Greece has been provided. A critical interpretation of modern social contract theory, in which political philosophy is imprisoned in state philosophy, and politicization is a dichotomy between ruler and subject, has been provided to reveal the presence of political power in so-called stateless societies. Through the ideas of Anthony Paul Cohen, Ernst Cassrirer, Marcel Gauchet, Pierre Clastres ve Mircea Eliade, political activity as symbolic activity and its connection with the category of holiness is discussed.
