dc.description.abstract | Inflammatory bowel disease is uncommon in infants. We present the clinical, endoscopic and pathologic findings for
two exclusively breast-fed infants with a diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease. We emphasize that although inflammatory bowel disease is rare in infants, chronic bloody diarrhea must be a sufficiently alarming symptom to consider
a differential diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease in young infants is considered, even when they are exclusively
