Evaluation of anti-HIV activity of 5- ( 2-phenyl-3 ‘-indolal) -2- thiohydantoin

Abstract

The anti-HIV activity of the previously synthesized S-( 2-phenyl-3’-indolal)-Zthiohydantoin I was evaluated. The compound, containing two structural moieties found in highly active anti-HIV agents, exhibited poor activity and rather high cytotoxicity. 8 1998 Elsevier Science S . A. All rights reserved.
