| dc.description.abstract | Tezde AKP'nin, Türkiye'nin kurucu zemini Kemalizm'i, Kemalist belleği yıkarak, Yeni Osmanlıcılık olarak ifade ettiği bir zeminde yeniden inşa edeceğini söylediği Yeni Türkiye'nin kurucu iktidarı olma kapasitesi anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Toplumsal bellek teorisi üzerinden AKP ile Kemalist bellek arasındaki diyalektik iktidar mücadelesi, AKP'nin Kemalizm karşısında 2002-2010 yılları arasında bir karşı hafıza ve 2011-2017 yılları arasında ise iktidar hafızası olduğu iki aşamalı olarak, on beş yıllık iktidar süresini temel almıştır. Böylece bu süreç toplumsal bellek kurmanın kavramsal araçları olan hafıza mekânları ve anma törenleri aracılığıyla incelenmiş, AKP'nin geçmiş iddiası ile gelecek tahayyülü anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. The thesis attempts to evaluate the capacity of the AKP to be the constitutive power of the New Turkey it claims to build on a basis it refers to New-Ottomanism by destroying Turkey's constitutive Kemalist ground/memory. Approached from the perspective of collective memory, the dialectical power struggle between the AKP and Kemalist memory is studied in two stages. First when the AKP is in a position of a "counter memory," between 2002-2010 and second when it is in a position of "the memory of power," between 2011-2017, in its fifteen years of power practice. This process is studied through the conceptual tools of "places of memory" and "remembrance ceremonies" provided by collective memory theory.
