ZZ γ and Z γ γ couplings in γ e collisions with polarized beams

The potential of the
γ
e
mode of a linear
e
+
e
−
collider to probe
ZZ
γ
and
Z
γ
γ
vertices is investigated through Z boson production from the process
γ
→
e
Ze
.
Considering the longitudinal and transverse polarization states of the Z boson and incoming polarized beams we find 95% C.L. limits on the form factors
h
Z
3
,
h
Z
4
,
h
γ
3
,
and
h
γ
4
with an integrated luminosity of
500
fb
−
1
and
√
s
=
0.5
,
1, 1.5 TeV energies. It is shown that the polarization can improve sensitivities by a factor of 2 to 3 depending on the energy.
