Sehl B. Abdullah Et-Tüsterî ve tasavvufî görüşleri
Özet
Bu çalıĢma, hicrî üçüncü asırda Abbasiler devrinde yaĢamıĢ, sufi ve müfessir
Sehl b. Abdullah et-Tüsterî (ö. 896)‟nin tasavvufî görüĢlerini ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla
yapılmıĢtır. ÇalıĢma bir giriĢ ve iki bölümden oluĢmaktadır. Konunun önem ve
kapsamı, yöntem ve kaynakları hakkında bilgi veren GiriĢ‟in ardından Birinci Bölüm‟de
Tüsterî‟nin yaĢadığı coğrafya ve asır, tahsil ve sülûk hayatı, seyahat ve sürgünleri, ilmî
ve tasavvufî Ģahsiyeti, itikâdı, karakteri, menkıbe ve kerâmetleri, hocaları, talebeleri,
muâsırlarıyla münâsebetleri, eserleri ve tesirleri ele alınmıĢtır. Ġkinci Bölüm‟de ise,
tasavvuf, tevhîd ve ulûhiyet, bilgi ve marifet kavramları, nübüvvet ve velâyet, insanın
hakikatı ile ilgili kavramlar, makamlar gibi baĢlıklar altında Tüsterî‟nin tasavvuf
anlayıĢının esasları ve nefis terbiye usulü tafsilatlı bir Ģekilde incelenmiĢtir. Sonuç
itibariyle, tasavvufun müstakil bir ilim olarak teĢekkülünde büyük pay sahibi olan
Tüsterî‟nin, kendi fikrî-amelî tecrübesiyle tahkik edip yoğurduğu Kitâb ve Sünnet esaslı
bir tasavvuf anlayıĢına sahip Rabbânî bir imam olduğu görülmüĢtür.
This study concentrates on the mystical wiews of Sahl b. Abdillah al-Tustarî (d.
896) who is an Abbasid sufi and exegete of the Qur‟an. The study consists of one
introduction and two chapters. In the Introduction, we gave information about the
importance, intention, methods and sources of the subject. In the Chapter One, we
discussed the geography and century where al-Tustari lived, his collection life, his
travels and deportations, his scientific and mystical personality, his creed, his character,
his manners and miracles, his teachers and his students, his relations with his
contemporaries, his works and influences. In the Chapter Two, we studied in detail the
principles of his understanding of Sufism under various headings such as tasawwuf,
tawhid, knowledge, prophethood and sainthood, concepts related to human truth,
maqams. As a result, it has been determined that al-Tustari has a major share in
formation of Sufism as an independent discipline and has a Sufism based on Qur‟an and
Hadith.
