In this study, boron removal and recovery with hydrothermal mineralization (HM) method were carried out by chemical coagulation (CC) and electrocoagulation (EC) methods from industrial wastewater. As a result of the studies, boron removal was determined by potentiometric method, pH, precipitator amount, experimental time, current density and conductivity factors affecting the removal of the Design Expert 7.0 program was run by the Response Surface Methodology (RSM) method optimization studies were made. In the CC process, the boron removal efficiency of 70.03 % at pH 10.5 and 2 g/L was obtained. Boron removal efficiency is 73.63 % at pH 11.5 and 2 g/L with iron chloride precipitator. When iron sulphate heptahydrate was used, it was obtained 67.12 % boron removal efficiency with pH 10.5 and 2 g/L precipitator. In the EC process, aluminum (Al) and iron (Fe) electrodes were used for treatment. With the Al electrode, pH 9, the current intensity of 0.6 A, the conductivity of 9.5 mS/cm and 40 minutes duration of the experiment result was obtained 61.74 % boron removal efficiency was obtained. Fe electrode pH 11, current intensity of 0.8 A, conductivity of 12 mS/cm and 20 minutes of the result of the experiment as a result of 69.80 % boron removal efficiency was obtained. In the EC process, the gain values were calculated by Cohen-Coon method and pH control experiments were performed with PID. It was observed that the pH value reached the set point rapidly and the error performance criteria were low. As a result of precipitation processes, boron recovery by HM method has been studied. It was determined by XRD and SEM methods that the highest boron removal efficiency obtained with Al electrode was recovered as NaB(OH)4.
