dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı Tanrı algısı, affedicilik ile psikolojik iyi olma arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmanın diğer bir amacı bu iki kavram arasındaki ilişkinin cinsiyet, yaş ve eğitim seviyeleri değişkenleri açısından anlamlı farklılıklar gösterip göstermediklerini incelemektir. Araştırmada kullanılan veri toplama araçlarının ilki insanların cinsiyet, yaş ve eğitim seviyesi hakkında bilgi toplamak amacıyla hazırlanan Bilgi Toplama Formu' dur. İnsanların affedicilik düzeyini saptamak için Ali Ayten tarafından hazırlanmış olan anket ve ayrıca Özlem Güler tarafından hazırlanmış olan Tanrı Algısı Ölçeği (TA) ve son olarak da psikolojik iyi olma düzeylerini ölçmek için (Ruff, 1989) Psikolojik iyi Olma Ölçekleri‘nin 42 maddelik formu kullanılmıştır. Çalışma 1312 veri üzerinden gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler IBM SPSS Statistics 23 ve IBM SPSS AMOS 23 programlarına aktarılarak tamamlanmıştır. Katılımcıların %48,8‘i kadın, %51,2‘si erkektir. Tanrı algısı ölçeği ile psikolojik iyi olma ölçeği arasında pozitif yönde düşük seviyede bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Sonuçlara göre lise mezunlarının lisans ve lisansüstü mezunlarına göre öç alma-ya daha eğilimli olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca lisans ve lisansüstü mezunlarının lise mezunlarına göre psikolojik iyi oluşlarının daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Cinsiyet bakımından sonuçlara bakıldığında kadınların erkeklere göre affetme eğilimlerinin daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca kadınların erkeklere göre Tanrı algısı, psikolojik iyi olma ve iyimserlik bakımından verdikleri cevapların ortalamaları anlamlı derecede daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir.AbstractThe objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between God Per-ception, Forgiveness and Psychological Wellbeing. Its second objective is to investi-gate whether or not there exists a significant difference between said concepts and gender, ages and education level variables of the subjects. The first device which is used for data collection in this research study is the Information Gathering Form which is prepared in order to collect information about the gender, age and education levels of the subjects. Also, the interview that is pre-pared by Ali Ayten is used for measuring the forgiveness levels of the subjects and the Scale which is developed by Özlem Güler for measuring the God Perception and finally Scale which comprised to 42 items prepared by Ruff in 1989 is used for mea-suring the Psychological Wellbeing of the subjects are used in this study. The study is carried out on 1312 subjects. Their data is completed and processed after having transmitted into IBM SPSS Statistics 23 and IBM SPSS AMOS 23 programs. 48,8% of the subjects were female and 51,2% male. A weak and positive relationship is found between God perception and psy-chological wellbeing variables. The results suggested that high school graduates had stronger tendency to take revenge when compared with university graduates who had completed their B.S. and M.S. programs.Also it is observed that B.S. and M.S. graduates got higher scores in psycho-logical wellbeing scale when compared with that of the high school graduates. When results are analyzed according to sex differences, it is observed that females had stronger tendency to forgive when compared with that of the males. It is also observed that the average values of females in their scores of God perception, psychological wellbeing and optimism are found as significantly higher than that of the males.
