Abstaract This thesis consists of six chapters.The …rst chapter is devoted to the introduction.The second chapter, concepts and de…nitions which are needed in the further chap-ters are given.In the third chapter, ruled surfaces in the 3 and n¡dimensional Euclidean space areanalyzed. The existance of edge space and striction space together with concepts oftangentian bundle and asymptotic bundle are studied. In the fourth chapter, ruled surfaces in the 3 and n¡dimensional Lorentzian spaceare examined. Distinct time like ruled surfaces which occur when the generatingcurve is time like or space like are studied.In the …fth chapter, B¡scrolls that are special ruled surfaces in 3 and n¡dimensionalEuclidean spaces are introduced. Striction space, the matrix corresponding to shapeoperator, the normal, the Gaussian and mean curvatures, I. and II. fundamentalforms, asymptotic lines and curvature lines of B¡scrolls together with the conceptsof asymptotic bundle and tangentian bundle are studied.In the last chapter, time like B¡scrolls which are special ruled surfaces in 3 andn¡dimensional Lorentzian space are introduced and the subjects mentioned above,in the cases the generating curve or binormal in 3¡dimensional Lorentzian spaceare time like examined. 2. and p th degree B¡scrolls that occurs in the case whenthe generating curve is time like or space like in n¡dimensional Lorentzian space arestudied.
