ÖZET"Çağdaş İspanyol Çocuk ve Gençlik Edebiyatında Gerçek ve Ötesi" baslıklı bu çalısmada, eserlerde gerçek ve gerçekötesi kapsamında ele alınan konular incelendi. Bu alanda Ispanya'da 2000-2010 yılları arasında yayımlanmıs eserler arasından seçilen on eser, mercek altına alındı. Günümüzde Ispanyol ÇGE, farklı özellik ve beklentilere sahip oldugu bilinen bir kitleye hitap eden ve ayrı bir edebiyat dalı olarak kabul gören bir konumdadır. Bu çalısmada, günümüz eserlerinde, dünyayla ve yasamla ilgili gerçeklerin yansımasında yakalanan seffaflıga ve yeni dünyaları yaratmada ulasılan yaratıcılıga dikkat çekmek istedik. Tez üç ana baslıktan olusur. Ilk bölümde Çocuk ve Gençlik Edebiyatıʼnın Ispanya'da 2000-2010 yılları arasında gelisim süreci ele alınır. "Gerçek" baslıgı altındaki ikinci bölüm, üç alt baslık altında incelenir: teknoloji ve tüketim konularının ele alındıgı "Çağımız Gerçekleri"; farklılıklar, hastalıklar, karmasık duygular ve ask gibi insan hayatının zorluklarını konu alan "Hayatın Zorluğu Gerçeği" ve tarihsel ve geleneksel gerçeklerin altını çizen "Tarihsel Gerçekler ve Ispanyol Gelenekleri". Üçüncü bölüm ise "Gerçekötesi" baslıgı altında"Düş Gücü Dünyayı Yaratırsa Bilimkurgu Geleceği Yaratır" altbaslıgında bilimkurgu konusunu inceler. 166Çalısmada, gerçek konusu, "Satılık Anne" ("Se Vende Mamá"), "Tüyler Ürpertici Korku Fabrikası" ("La Formidable Fábrica del Miedo"), "Çocuk Olmak O Kadar da Kolay Değil" ("No es Tan Fácil Ser Niño"), "Diğerleri (Gizli Örgüt)" ("Los O.T.R.O.S. (Sociedad Secreta)", "Kaybolan Şeyler" ("Las Cosas Perdidas"), "İrina'nın Yüzüğü" ("El Anillo de Irina"), "Bağdat Postacısı" ("El Cartero de Bagdad") ve "Noel Sonrası İlk Akşamüzeri" ("La Primera Tarde Después de Navidad") eserlerinde; gerçekötesi konusu ise "Ulectra Yolunda" ("Por el Camino de Ulectra") ve "Oz'da Esrarengiz Cinayet" ("El Asesinato Misterioso en Oz") eserlerinde aranmaya deger bulunmustur.SUMMARYIn this study titled "Realism and Beyond in Contemporary Spanish Children's and Youth Literature," themes pertaining to realism and surrealism were analyzed. To accomplish this goal, 10 literary works (published in Spain between the years of 2000 and 2010) were studied in detail. Today, Spanish Children's and Youth Literature is designed to appeal to readers that are know to have different characteristics and expectations. It has achieved a status that is evaluated in a separate literary category. In this study, the aim is to emphasize the transparency in reflecting the reality of life and the world, as well as the level of creativity achieved in constructing new worlds in existing modern literary works. This thesis is composed of three chapters: the first chapter pertains to the development of Children's and Youth Literature in Spain between the years 2000-2010. The second chapter, titled "Realism," is studied under three subsections: "Contemporary Facts" of which the subject is technology and consumption; "The Fact that Life is Hard" of which the subject is difficulties faced in life such as differences, diseases, complex feelings and love, and finally; "Historical Facts and Spanish Traditions" which underlines historical and traditional phenomenon. The third chapter, titled "Surrealism," studies science fiction in the context of "If Imagination Creates the World, then Science Fiction Creates the Future." 168 The topic of "Realism" is dealt within the works: "Mom For Sale" ("Se Vende Mamá"), "The Creepy Fear Factory" ("La Formidable Fábrica del Miedo"), "It's Not Easy Being a Child" ("No es Tan Fácil Ser Niño"), "The Others (The SecretOrganization)" ("Los O.T.R.O.S. (Sociedad Secreta)"), "Lost Things" ("Las Cosas Perdidas"), "Irina's Ring" ("El Anillo de Irina"), "Postman from Bagdad" ("El Cartero de Bagdad") and "The First Evening After Christmas" ("La Primera Tarde Después de Navidad"). The topic of "Surrealism" is dealt within the works: "On the Way to Ulectra" ("Por el Camino de Ulectra") and "Mysterious Murder in Oz" ("El Asesinato Misterioso en Oz").
