| dc.description.abstract | Estetik ile siyaset arasında kurulabilecek ilişkilerin Brechtyen kuram üzerinden incelendiği bu çalışmada, Brecht'in kuramsal yazılarının sönük bir şekilde işaret ettiği bir alanın temel alınmış olduğu ilk elde belirtilmelidir. Brechtyen kuramın kalkış noktası olarak ortaya çıkan Aristotelesçi dramatik yapıya karşıt konumlanışın ve özdeşleşme anlayışının reddinin, Brecht tarafından tarihsel çözümleme yerine, mantıksal bir tarzda ele alınmakta oluşu, çalışmanın yapısı bakımından da belirleyici olmuştur. Bu bağlamda, iki ölçüt önerilmiştir ve bu iki ölçüt çerçevesinde Brechtyen kuram ve pratik ?epik?, ?diyalektik? ve ?siyasal? açılardan incelenmiştir. Merkezine ?güzel? kategorisini koyan ve bütünlük anlayışını esas alan bir estetik karşısında Brechtyen kuram ve pratiğin ?epik? niteliği, Brecht'in bu evreye ilişkin ileri sürdüğü tanımlar ve öğeler çerçevesinde sorgulanmıştır. Brecht'in, sanatının, toplumsal içeriğine vurgu yaptığı ?diyalektik? evre estetiğe ilişkin aynı sınırlayıcı varsayım altında modern ve antik öncülleriyle ilişkileri temelinde çözümlenmiştir. Brechtyen kuram ve pratiğin ?siyasal? açıdan incelenmesinde estetiğe ilişkin sınırlayıcı varsayım kaldırılmış ve Brecht'in ?çirkin? kategorisinin kullanıldığı ve bütünlük anlayışının yerini fragmenter ilkeye bıraktığı bir estetik karşısındaki durumu anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Sonuçta Brecht'in özgün katkısının, toplumsal duruma müdahale edebilecek bir siyasal kapasitenin gereksinim duyacağı alanın kurulmasında sanatın alabileceği rolü göstermesi olduğu düşüncesine varılmıştır. AbstractIt must be firstly stated that the basis of this dissertation, which is focused on the Brechtian theory to investigate the possible relations between politics and aesthetics, is taken from the field that the theoretical essays of Brecht slightly indicate. It has been determinative on the structure of the text that the antithetical departuring point of the Brechtian theory, namely Aristotelian drama and rejection to notion of identity (einfühlung), merely examined by Brecht through logical perspectives but not with historical ones. In this context two criterion was offerred to analyze Brechtian theory and practice in ?epic?, ?dialectic? and ?political? phases. The ?epic? character of Brechtian theory and practice which is constitued by the Brecht?s definitions, is examined under a criterion which supposes aesthetics as based on a notion of totality and taken the ?beauty? as its central category. In mutual relatively framework with the antique and modern ancestors the ?dialectic? phase which is characterized by the Brecht?s strong emphasis on social content of art is analyzed under the refferred limited criterion. In the process of investigating the ?political? phase of Brechtian theory and practice, the refferred criterion is canceled in the name of a new presupposition on aesthetics that uses the category of ?ugly? and that fragmentarily structured in substituting notion of totality and in this context Brecht?s situation is tried to comprehended. Finally, the original contribution of Brecht is seen as to indicate the role of art as creating the space in a situation which a political capacity may need to operate intervening the social structure. | |
