AbstractLevinas, attributes inception of time, sense and freedom to face to faceattainment with the Other. Thus, we meet with new way of thinking which prioritizeethics to ontology. Philosophy which means love of wisdom is referred as wisdom oflove from now on. Notion which forms the basis of ethics; is the emotion of love andresponsibility towards the Other. I have taken his/her responsibilities against theOther in an unknown time and this responsibility can’t be transfered. Levinas nevermentions of a world isolated from I and the Other. The Others in the world have beenalways the matter for the thinker. When the matter of fact is the Others or humanity, concept of justice comes up.Thinker has been under great amount of impact of Jewish theology whileforming his sense of justice. Also, sense of justice should be handled together withethic basis. Because justice is implicit of ethics.
