Özet
Bu Çalışmada 2000 sonrası Türk sinemasında yoksulluk, Rıza, Kara Köpekler Havlarken ve Köprüdekiler filmleri aracılığıyla incelenmistir. İstanbul özelinde Türkiye’deki kentsel yoksulluğun, Türk sinemasının son on yılında nasıl algılandığı; karakter oluşumunda ve toplumsal arka planın yaratılmasında hangi kavramsal ve kuramsal analizlerin referans alındığı incelemeye dahil edilmiştir. Modern yoksulluk, bireysel bir yeteneksizlikler dizisinin sonucu değildir ve kapitalizmin yapısal ihtiyaçlarının bir ürünü olarak karşımızaçıkmaktadır. With a special focus on Istanbul, the study delineates how the urban poverty in Turkey has been perceived in the last decade of the contemporary Turkish cinema, and what conceptual and theoretical analyses have been utilized in the creation of the characters and in the construction of social background. Modern poverty is not the result of a set of individual ineptness, but the result of the structural imperatives of capitalism. Urban poverty is a sheer example of this situation
