In this context, sports and sport participation as new tools for values education emphasizes the importance of this study. The study group consisted of 20 students selected from 7th grade students of a private secondary school. The Positive Social Behavior Trend Scale (P.S.B.T.S) developed by Carlo and Randall (2003) was applied to the study group before and after 10 weeks of education. At the end of the study, the probability values for the public, emotional, emergency and obedient sub-dimensions of the scale were found to be less than 0.05. Accordingly, it was decided that there was a significant difference between the positive social behavior levels of the students before and after the values education given in the Physical Education and Sports courses. Apart from these statements, it was seen that values education for altruistic and hidden sub-dimensions has no positive effect on students.trDeğerler eğitimiBeden eğitimiOlumlu sosyal davranışlarBeden eğitimi ve spor derslerinde verilen değerler eğitiminin öğrencilerin olumlu sosyal davranış düzeylerine etkisinin incelenmesiInvestigation of the effects of the values given in physical education and sport courses on students' positive social behavior levelsmasterThesis
