On this purpose, a total of 18 implants, of which 7 of them in maxilla, 11 of them in mandible selected for control group, similarly in the same number of implants selected for laser group. Patients who are suitable for dental implant surgery were selected who had radiologically and clinical evaluated before. After surgical procedures primary stability of dental implants and osseointegration of these implants were evaluated by using resonance frequency analysis (Osstell). Low level therapy applied by using 632 nM wavelength, 25mV GaAlAs laser, implant sites were irradiated for totally 4 minutes: 2 minutes lingual/palatinal side and 2 minutes vestibular side. A total of 12 sessions were applied, of which 4 sessions were everyday just after the surgery and 8 sessions were applied in every other day. The ISQ was recorded by using Osstell at 1st, 14th, 30th, 60th, 90th, 120th days and Mann-Whitney U test was used to analyse statistically. Results show that low level laser therapy may accelerate osseointegration and provide denser bone formation around the implants.Key Words: Dental implant, GaAlAs laser, low level laser therapy, osseointegration, Osstell, resonance frequency analysis.trDental implantrezonans frekans analiziDental implantın cerrahisini takiben düşük enerjili laser uygulamasının osseointegrasyon üzerine etkisinin rezonans frekans analizi ile değerlendirilmesiEvaluation of the effect of low level laser therapy on osseointegration after dental implant surgery with resonance frequency analysisdoctoralThesis
